In spite of the closures and recommendations for social distancing necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, one local program will continue its attempt to provide nutritious food to the community.

Hunger Free Dallas County’s “Pop-Up Produce” program has been ongoing through the coronavirus situation, and there are two stops this coming week. On Tuesday, April 14th, the travelling produce stand will be at the Minburn American Legion Hall from 4-6 p.m. It will then be at Redfield City Hall on Wednesday, April 15th from 2-4 p.m. A variety of fresh fruits and vegetables will be available at farmers market prices, and all are welcome to take part.
