With schools now officially closed through the end of April, school districts across the state are having to get more creative to stay in touch and interact with their students.

The athletic and activities at Dallas Center-Grimes High School is no exception.  The DC-G Activities Twitter account has become a hot spot for coaches and student-athletes to stay in touch with light-hearted, daily, themed posts.

Last week, DC-G Activities promoted “Throwback Thursday” where past and present student-athletes, coaches, and teachers posted successful moments from the district’s athletic history.

Some coaches have been doing daily challenges with their teams, like trick basketball shots, team pictures, and reminiscing about their current teams and squads of past.
