A Perry woman was arrested following a single-vehicle wreck Tuesday night in Boone County.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, at around 8:46 p.m. emergency crews were dispatched to Highway 144 north of Perry, just east of the Clover Avenue intersection. An SUV driven by 29-year-old Yoana Adams appeared to have left the road and collided with several objects including a barbed wire fence. She was treated at the scene by Dallas County Emergency Medical Services for minor injuries. A Boone County Deputy then performed a field sobriety test and determined Adams was under the influence of alcohol.

She was subsequently arrested and charged with OWI, open container, driving under suspension, failure to maintain control, and no SR22 insurance. She’s being held at the Boone County Jail.
