A Greenfield man was recently arrested for several charges including an incident that occurred in Stuart.
Court documents show that 39-year-old Douglas Kelton Reeves was arrested on a warrant from Adair County for two counts of third degree burglary, and one count of second degree theft and criminal mischief, all class D felonies. He’s also charged with first degree harassment, an aggravated misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor, for a March 20th incident. The criminal complaint states at about 10:33 p.m. the Stuart Police Department responded to a residence in the 500 block of South Harrison Street where Reeves was allegedly sitting in his vehicle in the alley behind the residence, honking his horn and threatening the resident. Reeves refused to speak with the officer, and the victim stated that Reeves had made threatening comments to him. Reeves bonded out of the Adair County Jail where he was held on $7,000 cash or surety. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
