The Iowa Department of Public Health announced Tuesday there were 73 new positive cases of COVID-19 across the state, and that a seventh individual had died from the virus.
The latest coronavirus-related death was an individual in Muscatine County between the ages 41-60. Included in the 73 new confirmed cases, four are from Dallas County, each of whom is between the ages of 18-40. There have now been a total of 497 positive COVID-19 tests in the state, as well as 6,888 negative tests. The highest concentration of cases is now in Linn County, with Polk and Johnson also well above the occurrences in other counties. Dallas County ranks fourth in the state in positive cases.
