The number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 continues to rise in Iowa.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, 64 additional positive cases were confirmed Saturday, bringing the total number of cases for the state to 298. Along with the 64 new cases includes six from Dallas County, including four adults (18-40 years-old) and two middle-aged adults (41-60 years-old). The number of patients for Dallas County is now 15. The State Hygienic Lab and other labs report 4,375 tests were negative for the illness.
Additionally, there have been three deaths in Iowa related to the 2019 novel coronavirus. The deaths have been reported in Poweshiek, Allamakee and Dubuque counties.
