The head coach of the Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’ Basketball team, Joel Rankin, spoke with Raccoon Valley Radio earlier this week to talk about the status of his program’s summer camps and offseason schedule.

Rankin said that, as of now, everything for the summer is still a go.  DC-G Boys’ Basketball offers summer camps for students in grades 3-12.  The camps focus on developing a variety of skills and fundamentals for the younger ages, and more team oriented activities for middle and high school aged kids.

In addition to the camps that Rankin and his staff offer, the Mustangs like to attend a handful of team camps at various college campuses across Iowa.  In the summer team camps, DC-G will play unofficial scrimmage-like games against other teams from Iowa.
