As more restrictions and guidelines are released concerning the novel coronavirus-19, there’s one service that is continuing as normal.

According to the Jefferson Post Office, the mail service will remain uninterrupted at this time. Mail delivery, as well as anyone wishing to drop off packages or other items to be sent through the mail service can continue to do so. The hours of operation will also be uninterrupted. 

With the recent guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the Iowa Department of Public Health, if someone is experiencing symptoms of the virus, such as shortness of breath or a fever, they are discouraged from dropping off packages at the post office to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
