Among the certainties in today’s uncertain environment because of the corona virus, is the fact Iowa schools will not be in session until at least April 13. Greene County Activities Director Todd Gordon talked to Raccoon Valley Radio about the situation. “We still need to do planning, so one of the things we’ve starting working on is how to we honor our seniors. I really feel bad for our seniors because it’s their final weeks of high school. We may get back to school, we may not. We can’t control that, but we would like to honor our seniors in some way if we can’t have our traditional “senior nights” in our various activities.
Gordon said he and A.D.’s from all over the country met via conference call this week to share ideas and go over situations. He added as long as schools across the country are not in session, the weekly calls would continue.
