Additional businesses and organizations have announced closures and adjustments to schedules due to the recent restrictions by the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control.
Heartland Bank in Jefferson will close its location starting tomorrow until further notice. However, staff will continue to work and will be available by appointment only. A drop box has been installed on the west side of the Greene County Courthouse in Jefferson. Anyone wishing to submit documents to the Greene County Recorder’s Office may do so at the drop box and residents can notify them when they do, otherwise it will be checked periodically throughout the day. Passport photos are also suspended at this time.
