The Sites for track and field’s co-ed 2020 State Qualifying Meets were released Tuesday.

The meets are currently set for Thursday, May 14th, assuming there are no more delays or setbacks from the states spring sports postponement which is slated to be lifted Monday, April 13th. The hosts schools for Class 2A are Cascade, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Hudson, Manson Northwest Webster, Tipton, Treynor, West Marshall, and West Sioux.

The Panorama girls team is the only spring sport to begin competition for the Panthers before the suspension of all activities when they made the trip to Cedar Falls to compete in the Dickinson Relays at the UNI Dome. The Panthers were led by a 12th place finish from their 4×800 relay.

The team comprised of Lydia Lindstrom, Payton Beckman, and Gwen and Olivia Steffen finished in 10:35:92. The time was 12th best in a field of 63 teams. Gwen and Olivia Steffen also found success as individuals each etching a top-20 finish in the 400 meter race. In the field of 202 runners, Gwen finished in 13th with Olivia right behind her in 17th. Lindstrom also raced in the 400m and finished in 27th.

Panorama finished fourth in the 4×800 relay at last years state championships with three legs returning in Lindstom and the Steffen twins.
