All Guthrie County offices, as well as Guthrie Center, Panora, and Stuart city buildings are closed to visitors until further notice in accordance with social distancing guidance issued by President Donald Trump and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds.
This closure includes the courthouse, health services building, secondary roads building, and Conservation office. County staff will continue to work from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A phone and email directory has been posted at the main entrance of the courthouse for anyone needing to do business. A drop box has also been installed at that entrance, and those who need to file paperwork can contact the respective department before dropping it off. More information can be found on the county website.
Guthrie Center City Hall has also closed their office windows to the public until further notice. Payments can be left in the blue dropbox on the east side of the building, in the box on the counter in the lobby, or by visiting their website and clicking on “Online Payments.”
Panora City Hall has also been closed until further notice. City staff will be able to assist residents via email or by calling 641-755-2164. Online utility payments can be made here. Those requiring an in-person visit must contact City Hall to schedule an appointment. Requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure needs are being addressed while continuing to maximize social distancing.
Stuart City Hall is closed to the public until further notice, and information has been posted on the lobby doors to call with questions, pay bills online, or put payments in the drop box. You can contact staff at 515-523-1455 or visit their website for more information.
