A Greene County Boy Scout Troop recently received funds from a non-profit organization.

The American Legion Post #11 of Jefferson donated $300 to Scout Troop 534. Scoutmaster Jeff Mason appreciated the donation and said the funds will be used to help promote scout-related activities. The donation was made during the American Legion’s monthly meeting earlier this month at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Hall in Jefferson.
