The National Weather Service Des Moines office has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Guthrie County in effect from 1 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. Total snow accumulations of one-to-three inches are expected mainly before 1 p.m. with wind speeds predicted of 11-14 miles per hour with gusts as high as 21 mph. Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions, and visibility may be reduced to one-to-three miles at times, which may lead to adverse travel impacts.
