The post-season accolades keep coming in for Panorama’s Payton Beckman.

As the sophomore has turned her focus to the upcoming track season, the honors keep coming for her stellar basketball season. Last week Beckman was a unanimous first team selection for the WCAC all-conference team. The latest praise comes on a state-wide level. The Iowa Girls Coaches Association released their all-state teams this week, which featured Beckman on the second-team all class 2A. Beckman was among the top of Class 2A in several statistical categories. Her 18.9 points per game ranked ninth in the state. She hit 56 shots from behind the arch, which also ranked ninth in the state. Beckman was also one of just seven athletes to rack up more than 100 steals, earning a sixth best 104. She was either first or second in Class 2A in those areas for sophomore athletes.

Beckman was the Panthers leading scorer for the Panthers who ended the season 20-4, earning them a WCAC championship banner.
