A northern Greene County business was recently recognized by the Small Business Development Center.

Minnehan Metal Works earned the SBDC Business of the Month award for February. Anthony and Tami Minnehan own the business, which started in a garage as a welding and farm repair shop in 1993. In 2014, they contacted North Central Iowa SBDC for help to market their product MudOX, which can pull combines out of wet fields. Through SBDC’s resources, they were able to market the product, improve their social media presence and sell it. 

Minnehan Metal Works projects now include custom grain pits, trailers, graders, shooting ranges and heavy duty lawn furniture.
