The ADM boys basketball team faced some tough teams throughout their season, which included one of the toughest conferences in the state in the Raccoon River Conference as well as a challenging non-conference schedule as well that included difficult different teams. ADM faced four different teams that made it to Des Moines in the class 2A and 3A level.
They played Pella and Pella Christian, both games that came down to the final minute before ADM fell short, but both were eliminated earlier in the week. In class 3A, Norwalk and Ballard both made the semifinals and ADM was competitive in both games, falling short to Norwalk, and splitting the season series against Ballard, which included a 20 point win at home.
ADM was competitive in a lot of games this year, and held their own against some of the states best. The winner of today’s Norwalk vs. Ballard game will play for the chance for a state championship tomorrow.
