Raccoon Valley Radio received word late Wednesday afternoon from the Activities Department at Greene County High School that next indoor track & field meets scheduled for next week have been cancelled. These are the first events that Greene County athletes were to have been in that were cancelled due to the threat of spreading the corona virus.

The girls meet was scheduled for the Lied Student Recreation Center on the Iowa State University Campus on Monday, March 16 with the boys on March 17 at the same venue, but both meets have been cancelled and won’t be made up.

Greene County began the indoor season earlier this week inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls for the A.D. Dickinson Relays.
