The Woodward-Granger Boys’ Basketball team had their dream season come to an end last night in a loss to #1 seed, Boyden-Hull in the Class 2A Quarterfinals from Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

The Hawks struggled throughout the evening to get anything going offensively, falling 57-26.

Brent Auchenbach’s team finishes a fantastic season at 22-3, with the first W-G State Tournament appearance in over three decades.

Woodward-Granger will graduate nine seniors from this year’s Varsity roster.

Boyden-Hull advances on to the Semifinal round tomorrow night in Des Moines.
