The Adel-Desoto-Minburn girls track and field team were in Cedar Falls on Monday to compete in the Dickinson relays against teams from the state of Iowa and has numerous solid finishers in different events. Sophomore Olivia Tollari was able to finish in 1st place in the long jump with a great stride of 17 meters and 9 inches, and was able to beat some top tier talent in the state to win that event. Freshmen Alexa Seidel also finished 13th in the same event, as ADM was well represent in long jump. Freshmen Lauren Case was able to finish 33rd out of 200 plus runners in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.61 seconds and finished in the top 50 in the 400 meter dash as well. Sophomore Kirstin Kilker finished 27th in the shot put with a distance of 34 meters.

The girls 4 x 200 team finished 16th out of 80+ teams with a time of 1 minute and 53 seconds, and the 4 x 400 team finished 12th with a time of 4 minutes and 23 seconds.

ADM will be pleased with the first meet of the year, but will look to continue to work to improve their PRs and numbers with more practice coming today.
