Greene County High School students did well at this past Saturday’s District FFA contest.
Advisor Raelyn Harris says Zach Burbank earned a gold award and third place for welding, while Makala Kafer and Conner Allender each earned a bronze award for ag broadcasting and extemporaneous speaking, respectively. Additionally, five students were recognized for their academic achievements for being in FFA for over three years and having a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher. Those students included Logan Brophy, Cole Betts, Abby Kozal, Izzy Bravard and Tieryn Tucker.
Cole Betts and Will Duff each received a gold award for the Farm Business Management Quiz and Grace Curtis and Emma Halterman each earned a gold award for the Greenhand Quiz. Check out the list below to see the full results.
