For the first time in over 30 years Woodward-Granger will be playing the Iowa High School Boys’ Basketball Tournament.  To put this feat in perspective, the last time the Hawks made it to the Elite Eight at State, Veterans’ Auditorium was the facility, almost 20 years before Wells Fargo Arena opened in 2005.

Brent Auchenbach’s team is seed #8 in the Class 2A Bracket and will face top seeded Boyden-Hull in the Quarterfinal round on Monday night.  The Hawks are slated to play the final game of day at “the Well” with a scheduled tip off of 8:15pm.
