Coach Derek Merk begins his third season heading the program with Drake Relays and State Meet experience. Junior Brianna Osterson is the most decorated individual on the team as she’s a past State Meet and Drake Relays place winner in the long jump, and also a sprinter of note. Other have big meet experience as well including junior Brooklyn Olson, a 2019 State qualifier in the discus throw, but that’s an outdoors event. Olson will be throwing the shot today.

The Rams are entering eight of the 12 possible events in Cedar Falls today with seven of those being running events.

The Dickinson Relays are a one-class statewide event with no team scoring.

Coach Chad Morton will take several members of the Greene County boys’ team tomorrow for the male portion of the Dickinson Relays.
