Friday, March 6th

5:59am: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Death Scene in the 300 Block of South Oak Street.

10:01am: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical call in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street.

2:41pm: Cody Renwanz reported a raccoon in his garage at 613 South Cedar Street. The officer caught the animal and released it outside of the city.

3:04pm: A Traffic Stop in the 800 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Jamie Ganoe of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

3:10pm: A Traffic Stop was conducted with a vehicle in the 200 Block of West McKinley Street. Ricky Eugene Comer, 64 of Grand Junction was cited for, “Open Container of Alcohol/Passenger.”

3:50pm: An officer investigated a Two Vehicle Property Damage Accident at the Greene County High School Student Parking Lot, located at 101 Ram Drive. A 2011 Ford F350, owned by Mark Moore and operated by Madison Moore of Ralston, turned too tightly while pulling from a parking spot. The rear tire of Moore’s vehicle struck the front corner of a parked vehicle. The 2006 Chevrolet HHR was owned by Rebecca Killion of Jefferson. Moore’s vehicle was undamaged while the Killion vehicle had a reported $2500.00 in damages.

8:19pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and 250th Streets resulted in Edward Goff of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

11:48pm: An officer witnessed a vehicle having problems maintain its lane in the 1400 Block of North Elm Street. The officer turned around and began to follow the vehicle southbound on North Elm Street. The vehicle pulled into the alley of the 300 Block of East Washington Street. The officer stopped and spoke with the driver. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Kenneth Lee Molle, 81 of Jefferson for, “OWI 1st Offense – Serious.”

Saturday, March 7th

2:42am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Grimmell Road resulted in Maddison Battani of Des Moines being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

10:50am: A caller advised that subjects were removing items from the Jefferson swimming pool in the 700 Block of South Maple Street. The officer learned workers were removing equipment and installing new at the pool.

11:17am: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 1805 North Elm Street. The facility was secure, and nothing was located.

12:12pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Death Scene in the 100 Block of North Maple Street.

4:19pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street.

10:47pm: An employee of Casey’s, located at 508 North Elm Street, advised she could not reach the store manager and her replacement had not shown up at the business at 2200 hours. The officer attempted to reach the manager and learned she was out of town.

Sunday, March 8th

1:31am: Pam Hulbert reported her neighbor’s music was too loud at 1000 West Adams Street. The officer spoke to the neighbor about the complaint and the music was turned down.

3:14am: A Traffic Stop at 220 th and Mulberry Streets resulted in Heather Gulbranson of Manson being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”

8:51am: Nicole Borkowski reported several No Contact Violations occurring overnight at 402 West Head Street. She advised her estranged husband had been at her window several times overnight and left her a note. The officer stopped at 505 North Grimmell Road and spoke to the husband, who made admissions to the violations. The officer arrested Ryan Douglas Patterson, 39 of Jefferson and charged him with, “Violation of Protective Order (7 Counts) – Simple and Simple Trespass.”

10:20am: Christopher Fleming reported he had lost his wallet on 03/08/2020 at the Wild Rose Casino, located at 777 Wild Rose Lane. The wallet contained his Debit Card. The card had since been used twice in Lake City. The officer is investigating.

1:55pm: Mike Holden reported an Erratic Driver on 237 th Street, heading east towards Jefferson. The officer located the vehicle and followed it through town. The officer did not witness any traffic infractions.

6:36pm: Nikki Uebel reported her 5-year-old son was missing from 103 Sunset. He had been playing in the backyard and was now gone. The boy was located a short time later hiding in the backyard. He was fine. The officer spoke to the youngster about the consequences of his actions.

6:45pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street.

8:19pm: HyVee reported an unknown subject has been leaving fake money at the business located at 106 West Washington Street. Several bills had been found on the floor and shelves of the business. The officer is investigating.
