Greene County ISU Extension is wrapping up commercial and private pesticide applicator training for the year.

Greene County Extension Director Lori Mannel says the final commercial pesticide training is for certified handlers on Wednesday, March 11th from 9-11:30am at the Extension office. The cost to attend is $35. She adds that they will also provide re-shows for any of the commercial pesticide classes that were previously held.

“We try to organize those when other people need it. It’s going to be $10 more, so instead of the $35 a re-show is going to cost you $45, and we’ve been doing some of those already. So just give us a call if you missed out on one.”   

The final private pesticide applicator training in Greene County will be on Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30pm at the Extension office in Jefferson. The cost to attend is $20 and Home State Bank will provide refreshments. Call 515-386-2138 or stop by the Extension office for more information.
