Guthrie County’s three local FFA chapters are all competing at the district conventions today.

The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center and Panorama FFA chapters are both at the Southwest District Convention in Harlan while the West Central Valley chapter is at the South Central District Convention in Corydon. Besides competing in Career Development Events to advance to the 92nd Iowa FFA Leadership Conference taking place April 19-21 at Iowa State University, there will also be election of next year’s district officers. As Panorama student Molly Simmons is this year’s treasurer for the southwest district, Guthrie County is also represented on the 2020-2021 ballot, with ACGC student EmmaKay McClain nominated for vice president.
