From broadway to gameplay, all popular music is on the table for the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School Music Department’s Pops/Jazz/Swing Concert.

The event, titled “It’s All About the Music,” will feature the concert band, jazz band, concert choir, swing choir, men’s choir, women’s choir, and soloists, under the direction of Kyra Babcock and Kelsey Moran.

Selections include an “Epic Gaming Themes” medley, Big Spender from the musical “Sweet Charity,” a “Phantom of the Opera” medley, The Place Where Lost Things Go from the film “Mary Poppins Returns,” and a performance of “Dear Baby” by Audrey Stowe, Kael Grasty, and Tommy Bates, which was an All-State non-performing selection from this year’s Large Group Speech Festival. The concert takes place at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the high school auditorium, and a freewill donation will be accepted.
