The Jefferson Police Department is asking for the public’s help with an ongoing investigation.

The department is investigating an overnight burglary at Countywide Electric in Jefferson. The alleged incident was reported on Thursday, February 27th at 7:23am. The company initially reported two office computers and several power tools were taken. Additional items will be likely added. The company has supplied police with video and images of the suspect.

The suspect is believed to be a male, around 5-foot and 7-inches tall. The suspect was wearing black shoes, a North Face jacket or hooded sweatshirt with white words or a design on the hood.
