Do you enjoy the outdoors, camping, and meeting new people? If so, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources might have the perfect opportunity for you.

Volunteer campground hosts are needed for the upcoming recreation season at Springbrook State Park in Guthrie County. Hosts are asked to live in the park from one to four months assisting DNR staff with light maintenance duties, checking in campers, and serving as a resource for park visitors. The volunteers are provided a free campsite while they’re actively hosting, consisting of 20-40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
