A two-vehicle wreck Friday afternoon in Perry resulted in minor injuries to two individuals, but no one taken to the hospital.

At around 4 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the corner of 1st and North streets, where a car and minivan had collided. The circumstances of the wreck are currently unknown, but the car suffered severe front-end damage and the van had damage to its side. According to Assistant Perry Fire Chief Brian Eiteman, the driver of the car and a juvenile passenger in the van complained of injuries. Both were checked at the scene by Dallas County Emergency Medical Services, but neither was transported. While the scene was cleaned up, traffic on 1st Street was diverted to side streets, with the area cleared before 5 p.m.
