Thursday, February 27th
2:17am: An officer located an Open Door at 1002 North Cedar Street and secured it after checking inside.
7:23am: County Wide Electric reported an overnight Burglary at 401 East Central Ave. Two office computers and power tools were taken. The business is conducting an inventory to determine what else may be missing. The business has cameras which captured the vehicle and a male subject during the crime. Officers are investigating.
11:59am: The Greene County Middle School turned in a credit card found outside the building. The officer is working to return it to the owner.
12:45pm: An officer assisted a motorist with mechanical issues near Lincoln Way and North Wilson.
2:24pm: A caller advised of a semi stopped and blocking the road near Elm and Clark Streets. The vehicle was not present when the officer arrived in the area.
3:42pm: A caller advised of subjects shooting a bow and arrow at 304 East Lincoln Way Street. The officer spoke to the subjects and advised this was against city ordinance and they would need to leave the city limits to do so.
4:36pm: A caller advised of (3) stray dogs running freely near Washington and Elm Streets. The officer did not locate the reported animals.
5:28pm: Tony Sparks advised of an Erratic Driver on 220th, heading towards Jefferson from the east. The officer located the vehicle and performed a Traffic Stop with it. The officer spoke to the driver about the complaint and allowed him to continue on his way.
