A Guthrie Center man was arrested for allegedly holding two people at knifepoint in his residence Thursday evening.
According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, 51-year-old John William Edgecomb was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies at about 8:30 p.m. after threatening two victims, one of them a minor, in the 300 block of Prairie Street. Edgecomb is charged with two counts of domestic abuse assault, display or use of a weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was booked into the Guthrie County Jail and is being held on a $4,000 cash-only bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
