The Iowa High School Speech Association District Individual contest is this weekend.

Paton-Churdan Speech Coach Kellie Henderson says five students will be competing in eight events. The entries include musical theatre, spontaneous speaking, literary program, expository address, storytelling and original oratory.  

Greene County Speech Coach Kelley Gray says 13 students will compete in 17 events. Those entries include reviewing, musical theatre, poetry, prose, literary program, radio news, storytelling, expository address and spontaneous speaking.
