The ADM Tigers fought hard in their semifinal match last night against Dallas Center Grimes, but unfortunately a late 8-2 run was the difference as the Tigers fell to the Mustangs 61-55. Adel-Desoto-Minburn was tied at 53 with just under two minutes to go, but DCG was able to get back to back buckets while ADM had a turnover and missed a shot to finish out the game before hitting key free throws.

They trailed by 39-29 midway through the third before going on a 17-5 run to end the quarter thanks to the hot shooting of junior Nate Mueller, who had three 3’s in the quarter and had 12 straight points to spark the run. ADM led by five midway through the fourth but DCG was able to make the plays down the stretch to get the victory. Mueller led the way with 14 points

The Tigers will be ending with a 13-10 record, as the team was competitive night in and night out. ADM will be graduating six seniors from their team including three starters, but they should field another good team next year as they look to reload.
