The Panorama girls basketball season competed for a regional championship Wednesday night.
The Panthers made the trip to Fort Dodge to square off with second-ranked West Hancock with a spot to the state tournament on the line. Panorama drew first blood with a three-pointer from Angel Poldberg in the first two minutes. The Eagles would respond with a 12-0 run over the next few minutes and built upon that to take a 22-5 lead into the second quarter. West Hancock would continue this pace and take home a 67-28 victory. Payton Beckman led the Panthers in scoring with 12 points to count on.
Panorama’s season concludes with a 20-4 record in the first year with Head Coach Kylee Boettcher leading the way.
