The Greene County Board of Supervisors met Monday in regular session.

The Board approved an addendum to the Boone County Probation services agreement. The addendum includes district and magistrate court referrals and an automatic renewal of the agreement on an annual basis.

The Board then approved the maximum property tax asking for the 2021 fiscal year, following a public hearing. The property tax asking includes the county services tax levy of 0.99% decrease compared to the current fiscal year, and an 1.67-percent increase for the rural services tax levy compared to the current fiscal year.

Finally, the Board heard an update on the Reunion Rendezvous event from last year’s Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson. Committee members Angie Gingery, Amy Milligan and Peg Raney called the inaugural event a success. The Board gave permission to allow for the event to happen this year on the north side of the Greene County Courthouse grounds.
