Sydney Neal of West Central Valley was absolutely terrific all season long for the Wildcats, averaging 12.5 PPG and 11.3 RPG. Neal led the West Central Activities Conference in rebounding over the last three years of her career, doing a fantastic job on the glass and making key rebounds. Neal was also tied for fourth in the state of Iowa in total rebounds for the game during the year, an impressive accomplishment.

Neal was instrumental in turning around the Wildcat program, as they were able to post their first winning record in a decade, concluding with a 12-10 record. The Wildcats will be without the senior Neal next year, but hope they replace her tremendous offensive prowess and ability to grab rebounds, something that is easier said than done.
