The ADM Tigers used a key 11-0 run to end the second quarter of play to propel themselves to a key victory in first round action in class 3A Substate 7 over North Polk 60-52. ADM was able to get a 18-13 jump after the first quarter of play and led by 24-21 with around 4 minutes to go in the half, before clamping up the North Polk offense and going onto their run to take a 14 point lead into the half.
North Polk did everything to stay in the game and sophomore Jadin Sullivan was able to keep them in it, but ADM was able to use their experience down the stretch to get the win.
ADM was led by Junior Nate Mueller’s 16 points, and had senior Nate Conrad chip in with 14 more, as the Tigers move on to the semi final round to take on Dallas Center Grimes on Thursday Night.
