It’s been nearly a week since the Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’ Basketball team was on the court in official action, but tonight they return to the Meadows at DC-G High School for first round District postseason action, as the Mustangs are set to do battle with the 3-18 Perry Bluejays.
DC-G is coming off of a dominant win at North Polk last Tuesday. It was a game that the Mustangs controlled from tip-off, and giving the Comets a resounding score of defeat, 61-38.
With the North Polk win, DC-G earned its 15th victory of the 2019-2020 season. Last year, the Mustangs had just 8 wins, so the amount of success has nearly doubled this season.
Should the Mustangs advance past Perry tonight, they would then get another home game on Thursday night, and DC-G would face the winner of North Polk and ADM, which tips off at 6:30pm this evening at DC-G High School. Following North Polk and ADM, DC-G and Perry will take the floor with an approximate tip-off scheduled for 8:00pm.
