The Casey Service Club is hosting an annual fundraiser that’s sure to leave participants with full stomachs tomorrow.

The club is hosting a chili cook off and bingo event at the Casey Community Building. Competitors are asked to bring their prepared chili in crock pots at 4 p.m. Entries will be served from 5-6:30 p.m. where the public can sample and vote for the People’s Choice award. Cost is $5 per person for all you can eat chili, and the proceeds will go towards the club’s scholarships, activities, and town improvement. Member Judi Zimmerline mentions some of their recent accomplishments, “One of the things that we did in November, we purchased new Christmas lights, beautiful snowflakes for that main business district in Casey and they looked so pretty. The year before we did the snowmen Christmas decorations and some flower planting, the flower boxes on Main Street are paid for in part by the service club.”

Cinnamon rolls, vegetables, and drinks will be provided, and bingo will follow at 6:30 pm.
