West Central Valley senior Justin Garcia will be wrestling in his first round match tonight against one of the states best in the 126 pound class in 1A. Garcia will be taking on Beau Klingensmith, who is one of the top wrestlers and is currently 48-4 on the season. Garcia finished the season with a 28-1o record, and got 2nd in district play, which was enough to qualify for state.

This is the second consecutive year that Garcia will be wrestling for the Wildcats at the state level, and will be hoping to put on a strong showing tonight. He will have to be quick, be aggressive, but also being cautious against a talented wrestler.

The evening session will begin at 6:00 pm, and you can listen to Garcia’s match on the Raccoon Valley Radio Network, which will be providing play-by-play coverage for all three day in Des Moines at the state wrestling tournament.
