Tomorrow begins the Iowa High School Athletic Association State Wrestling Tournament.

The Raccoon Valley Radio Network will be broadcasting matches in all three classes throughout the three-day tournament. The first session on Thursday is Class 3A, where Raccoon Valley Radio will be provide coverage for 12 area wrestlers, and it starts at 9am. The second session Thursday is Class 2A, where 19 area wrestlers qualified, and it begins at around 1:30pm. The final session on Thursday is Class 1A, with nine area wrestlers, and it kicks off at 6pm. 

Friday’s sessions begin at 9am with Class 3A and 2A quarterfinals, followed by second round consolations. The next session is for Class 1A quarterfinals, along with Class 3A semifinals and third round of consolations, followed by Class 1A second round of consolations. That session begins at 2:30pm. The final session on Friday starts at 7:30pm with Class 2A semifinals and third round of consolations, followed by Class 1A semifinals and third round of consolations. 

There are two sessions on the final day of the tournament. Saturday begins at 10am with all three classes of consolation semifinals and finals, followed by the championships for all three classes starting at 6pm. 

Live coverage of the 40 area wrestlers will be on all three Raccoon Valley Radio stations, with the various broadcasts to take place up to 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the sessions.
