The third meeting of the Panorama and AC/GC girls basketball teams lived up to the hype.

AC/GC made the quick trip to Panora Tuesday night to try to end Panorama’s season. The 14th ranked Panthers came into the night 2-0 against AC/GC in their two games this season. The first quarter was a defensive battle and was uncharacteristically low scoring. Panorama took a 9-8 lead into the first quarter break. Both teams found their offense in the second as AC/GC pulled ahead of Panorama 27-24 thanks to 13 points combined from EmmaKay McClain and Kylie Young. AC/GC keep at it in the third quarter taking a lead as big as nine before a late Panorama flurry flipped the score to their advantage. The Panthers led by one heading into the final eight minutes. Thanks to a slower pace and great free throw shooting, Panorama held on for a 58-53 victory to keep their season alive.

AC/GC ends their season 11-11, improving on their 9-13 record this season. Panorama moves on and will host IKM-Manning Friday night to attempt to avenge a 78-57 loss from earlier this year.
