Tuesday, February 18th
12:01am: A Traffic Stop in the 900 Block of East6 Lincoln Way resulted in Heather Reiling of Grand Junction being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
8:55am: The Greene County Middle School requested a Welfare Check on 2 students who had not attended school for several days. The officer contacted the students and learned they have been ill.
11:20am: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.
12:20pm: The Greene County High School advised a student had been caught with a vaping device at the facility. The officer has issued Harvick Nathaniel Beals a Citation for, “Minor Using Vaping Device.”
2:12pm: Bill Richardson reported his adult daughter had a cell phone destroyed and property stolen by a known male at 304 North Chestnut Street. The officer contacted Brittany Smith, who refused to provide any information and cooperate with the officer.
2:20pm: A DHS Case Worker requested an officer at 802 West Lincoln Way Street for an unruly juvenile male. The DHS worker placed the male into “Protective Custody” and the officer transported him to the LEC. A Jefferson officer later transported the juvenile male to a Youth Shelter in Ft. Dodge, per court order.
6:48pm: Amy Baugh reported receiving Harassing Text Messages from an unknown phone number.
6:54pm: A caller requested assistance with his juvenile daughter in the 600 Block of West Stanford Street. The officer coaxed the juvenile to ER to be evaluated by a medical doctor.
9:23pm: A caller advised of a vehicle leaving 1409 North Elm Street, being operated by an unlicensed driver. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
10:29pm: An officer removed debris from the roadway in the 1000 Block of North Elm.
