A relatively short meeting was had by the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors Tuesday.
The Board received an update from Transfer Station Director Jotham Arber, who said they are now fully staffed as they recently hired a new truck driver. He also mentioned that a meeting will be held with representatives from all the cities to update them on the recently approved tipping fee increase on March 3rd. Discussion on the Heartland Divide wind farm transmission line was tabled as Dustin Farnsworth wasn’t in attendance. Finally, the Board tabled scheduling the public hearing on the proposed property tax levy for next fiscal year, along with minutes from three previous meetings, as County Auditor Marci McClellan was absent.
