Governor Kim Reynolds and Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg will be in Adel Thursday afternoon, hosting a town hall on their “Invest in Iowa” Act.

The bill is currently being considered by the State Legislature, and it addresses funding for Iowa’s mental health system, an assortment of tax relief proposals, and funding for the natural resources and outdoor recreation trust fund. Reynolds and Gregg have been travelling around the state to promote the act in recent days, holding town halls to both educate and get feedback on the legislation.

Tomorrow’s event will be held in the community room of the Adel Public Library, and is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. It’s free to attend and open to the public.
