Bowen Born is one of the top players at the class 3A level in the state of Iowa, and on Tuesday Night in Adel he showed why scoring 46 points on the night and helping the Warriors to a 80-69 victory to send ADM to their first loss in the last four games. Born had 46 on the night, the most that ADM has given up to an individual opponent this year, though Born was the leading scorer in the entire state of Iowa at all levels in scoring with his 36.6 PPG.
ADM got down quick early trailing by 9 two minutes into the game after Born hit four three pointers by his first four shots of the night, electrifying the Norwalk side. ADM was able to claw back into the game to only go into the half trailing by 7. ADM played a great third quarter led by seniors Jaxson Millsap and Nate Conrad, and even pulled took the lead momentarily going early in the fourth quarter, but Norwalk was able to stay calm, make some plays down the stretch, and showed why they are one of the best at the class 3A level.
ADM goes to 11-9 on the season and will have one final regular season game tomorrow against Newton.
