The Greene County School Board will meet twice tomorrow.

A work session begins at 5:15pm. The Board will receive an update on the new high school and career academy project. The Board will then address the 2021 fiscal year budget and long range financials with financial agency Forecast 5. 

The regular meeting then begins at 6:30pm. Following a public hearing, the Board will consider for approval issuing about $10 million of the School Infrastructure Sales and Service Use Tax Revenue Bonds. Additionally, the Board will consider approving the project scope of the current high school into a middle school conversion project and set a public hearing to accept construction bids. 

The Board will also consider approving a late voluntary retirement request, and several agreements including, a Rising Hope Academy therapeutic classroom agreement with IKM-Manning School District, a Home Town Ticketing program and appointing a representative to the Bell Tower Community Foundation. They will then set public hearings for the 2021 certified budget and the 2020-2021 school calendar. Finally, the Board will consider approving board policies, fundraising requests and purchasing a weather monitoring system with Earth Networks. 

Both meetings will take place in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
