Kaden Sutton wrestled for a chance to go to state on Saturday for the ADM Tigers, and passed the test with flying colors winning his district at the 285 pound level and booking his ticket to Des Moines for class 2A.

Sutton punched his ticket in the semifinal round getting past Jeremiah Davis at 1:09 in recording a fall to advance to the final. Sutton’s opponent was Cale Roller of Atlantic, and recorded the win at 9-1 to win the title at the District 2 tournament. Sutton was wonderful throughout the day executing his moves to perfection and now will get another opportunity to go make a run in Des Moines.

Sutton will be wrestling on Thursday in the 2A level during the second session, which will be holding matches between 1:30-4:30. He will be taking on Chase Crooks of Charles City in the first round at the 285 bracket. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network will be providing live play-by-play coverage during the three day event, so you can listen to all of Sutton’s matches as he hope to leave his mark in his final go around for a potential state title.
