Adair County Extension and Outreach is hosting a Soil Fertility Workshop this week.

The program takes place at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Green Room of the Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield. An Extension field agronomist will cover the basics of soil testing, analytical tests, calculating crop nutrient removal, understanding return on investment from fertilizer applications, and more. Producers will develop skills on how to best allocate fertilizer input dollars on their farms. There is no fee to attend this workshop but RSVPs are recommended by calling the Extension office at 641-743-8412.
